I think that it is chocolate mint but am not sure, doesn't taste very chocolate though may be a tad bitter.

I have several mints and my chocolate mint is darker. The best way to tell is to rub and sniff. Honestly.
But keep in mind that if different types of mint aren't kept separate the different aromas/flavors will be muddied from what I've read. I've kept my mints totally separated and in pots so they all smell and look distinctly different. When I make teas, I can't easily pick up the different flavors if I use more than one kind of mint.
