DRYING HERBS

Anyone know of a method for drying herbs?

What kind of herbs are you drying? I know a few good ways to dry... but there are some different methods depending on what type you are trying to dry. You can dry whole plants, seed, root, ect. :)

I would like to dry thyme, parsly, oregano, culantro, basil, and cilantro. Any advice is appreciated. :D

I dried some sweet basil in the oven last night. Put it at about 200 degrees and let it go for close to an hour. 99% of the leaves dried up to where I could crumble them in my hands. Best of all, it retained all of it's flavor. :D

Soft herbs I freeze in ice cube trays. Much easier to use for cooking that way. Chop them up and either pack in ice cube trays or in small plastic containers not forgetting to label of course as you will forget! :D
