Catnip drying out alive

Not sure if this is the right place for this but it is an herb.

So all the leaves are curling up and drying out while the plant is still alive. I've been growing it indoors (and it LOVED that). The stalks still look completely healthy, but I don't know what I could have done to make the leaves do this. I was thinking overwatering?

Could be overwatering, but they take on kind of a wimpy, limpy appearance with that.

I think it’s more likely that it’s root bound, or fungal infected. Try to upsize the pot to see if that helps. Hopefully it’s still alive!

I planted the tiniest, wimpiest looking sprout at my last house, and I’m certain that they’re probably fighting it yearly, haha. Hindsight... My 3 beasts were adorable while they wallowed all over the sprigs I brought in for them!

In the depths of Hell that is the SC summer, the bottom leaves dry up, and the whole thing goes to seed. It’s perennial here, and in my opinion particularly invasive. So this drying could just be normal plant cycle.
