Basil Problem

Hello everyone.

Firstly, I am in Sydney Australia and found your site looking for answers to my Basil problem.
I must say I am not really a gardener as such, all my previous attempts have met with disaster.

I have attached a photo, I have white blotches on one of my Basil plants and not sure what to do with it.

I had the Basil growing indoors and it was looking a little sad so I moved them outside onto my balcony.

I think that this problem may be sunburn but not sure, the plants only get morning sun and being just out of winter
the sun isn't very strong.

If any body has some advice I would really appreciate some response/

Ben

Yup, looks like sunburn. If they were indoors, they weren't hardened off to tolerate direct sun. The burned leaves will not recover, but new leaves that appear will be fine. In the future, plants coming out from indoors have to be gradually adapted to direct sun.
