Coriander / lighting issue

Hi. I have transitioned from fluorescent lights to the Mars 300W.

I started a fresh batch of coriander. The roots are much much more developed with the Mars 300w. The problem is that the plants are stunted in their growth, no more than 10 cm in height and not bushy at all...and the leaves have red colours.

Is the Mars the wrong items for what I am doing? I thought it would be much better compared to the fluorescent.

I have been doing this for 2 years and the only thing I changed was the light...and I was expecting increased growth and decreased. :/

thank you
Alex

Welcome agraco,

I just read a review online about the Mars300, and unfortunately it mentioned the Mars 300W LED grow light is best used for seeding but not vegging and flowing. Not sure why this is so since it is supposed to cover 450 ~ 475nm, 620 ~ 630nm and 650 ~ 660nm, but this is what the review says. I use the HappyLeaf Procyon Ultra 33" - LED Grow Light and have been very pleased with the results.
