problem with flat leaf parsley

My flat leaf parsley has white strips on the leafs. It almost appears varigated, but I know it is not. I have a picture but I don't know how to insert a photo.

Some kind of sucking pests -- I'm thinking white flies. Check under the leaves for signs.

It could be thrips too. They cause that kind of damage and you won't necessarily see them as they are very small unless you have a hand lens.
