Hyssop Border

I would like to make a little bed (sage, rosemary, tarragon) with a hyssop (hyssopus officianalis) border. I tried googling the appropriate spacing for hyssop to form a border, but keep finding mixed answers. I want them close enough to form a solid border, but spaced enough to ensure the plants thrive. Anyone have any experience on the matter?
Thanks in advance!

I have only grown Korean hyssop. It is the only one that seems to do well for me. It gets about 2.5-3 ft tall. I space mine 10-18 inches apart. I do live where it is humid so I need wider spacing. If whre you live is drier you can use the minimal spacing which is 6 inches. If you want the hyssop to form a hedgerow then go with narrower spacing. Rosemary needs water for the first year but can live on rain after that. It will become a tree if it gets too much water. French tarragon is not suitable for my climate so I grow Mexican tarragon instead. I am still killing sage.
