I just bought a house, and it has a herb garden out back. Can anyone help identify the contents of my new garden? I plan to take samples to a garden center, but it's not very high on the list of priorities right now.
#1 and #2 both smell like mint. If that is the case, what's the difference?
Thanks!

Number 3 is definitely Rue. I just moved into a new house and have been trying to identify all of my herbs also. I've found an amazing app call Garden Compass that I downloaded onto my phone. I just take a picture of the plant, send it in and their experts identify it for me. It's amazing! Rue is one I was stubborn about and spent a ton of time trying to figure out myself. I've been doing a series on my blog of the uses of the plants in my yard. Rue has some fun uses. Check it out. There might also be some other plants you are interested in also. https://reclaimingmyexistance.com/can-rue-plants/
