Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help identify what is on my outdoor basil plants.
They look like little white balls breaking through the stems. They are all concentrated to one area of the stem, and the area around is turning brown.
Some of the leave are also turning yellow, but there doesn't seem to be anything on or underneath the leaves.
Thanks
Fusarium wilt is my guess.

Basil's vulnerability to the problem is a prime reason for buying only resistant varieties. Those are out there and we really should be taking advantage of them.
