Mystery....herb?

So this is my first garden and I started out with some herbs but I've had some...mystery guests since I started, I've been able to identify most of them and I decide I didn't want them but these guys are new.


They're growing right next to my sage and they don't look like anything I've planted. I have to admit, I didn't till the ground very well since it was my first garden, but I've also never seen plants like this in Arizona.

So the little flowering ones are your sage? They don't look just like sage I have seen, including that I am not familiar with white flowering sage varieties, but they are sage-ish.

Then the other stuff is just some grassy weed. Is there lawn nearby?

The ones to the side are probably weeds...

The flowering ones are definitely not sage, that's what I thought at first but it doesn't resemble my established plant. If it is just a weed I wouldn't mind ripping it up.
