Can you put basil, oregano and thyme in the same container?

Can you put basil, oregano, and thyme in the same container? Will this alter their taste if one herb is stronger in flavor and another? This is probably a silly question...

Oregano and thyme like about the same conditions so yes they can go together. Basil likes a richer moister soil and it gets big and shades everything so I either would put it at the top of a pocket pot in a six inch pot that will fit in the top of the planter, and with the thyme and oregano in the tiers, or but the basil in a separate pot.

Also oregano and thyme are perennials that will keep coming back and getting larger and eventually fill whatever size containers they are in.

Basil is an annual and needs its own container, not to be crowded out.
