Drying of young leaves - Ocimum Sanctum (Holy Basil, Tulasi)

Hello all,

please, can you advise me on this problem with drying of young little leaves of Ocimum Sanctum?

Is it a lack of some chemical element in the soil?

I feed the plant with universal fertilizer (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium carbonate, potassium hydroxide) plus ligud iron.

Older leaves and new sprouts at the ends of the branches are OK, but the problem is mainly with new leaves on the branches inside the plant and near the stem.

Thank you very much for any help.

I am not familiar with this plant, but I'll take a crack at it...

Usually when I find that the inner leaves are dying, it's because the plant doesn't have enough light. Is it in full sun?

I would say that if the new leaves at the end of the branches are ok, then you are probably fine.

I wouldn't worry about the fertilizer, as usually I only see too much fertilizer causing problems on the very tips of the leaves.

Anyone else care to lend their experience?
