My parsley is getting reddish?

I noticed my parsley getting reddish coloring on its leaves. I have it indoors in starting pots and just started putting it out to harden but had noticed the color change before starting to harden. I just added fertilizer to the water thinking that was the problem. Can someone confirm that I'm on the right track? :? This is my first year starting the herbs indoors. Thanks :)

Not sure... It isn't looking healthy and seems to have been lacking something. It could be a nutrient problem. Is it getting better since you added fertilizer? What are they potted in? If it is seed starting mix, that has no nutrients and you do have to fertilize.

If the reddening had started after you put it out, I would say it was stress due to the changed conditions. It could be any kind of stress, even over-watering.

Thanks for fixing the image. Still learning.

It was like that before putting out. I think adding the fertilizer is helping so maybe it is just nutrients. I started in Miracle Gro but then transplanted into bigger pots using a potting soil that probably doesn't have any fertilizer.

I'll continue feeding it and see..... I was thinking of pinching off the really ugly red leaves and then watching so I know for sure how it doing?

I read yesterday that Parsley likes a lot of fertilizer/nutrients? I

have Basil and oregano as well but they don't seem to need much additional help.

Appreciate your help. :)
