Cuban Oregano

Have any of you grown and/or used Cuban Oregano? A woman brought me a cutting at the Farmers market. It had been in water, plenty of roots starting. I finally put it in a pot with dirt, and checked the net for info. The cutting I have is pretty with green leaves with white borders. The leaves are round and a bit fuzzy. It is said to be excellent in black beans, lentils and other dishes, don't over do. When my cutting looks healthy, somewhat established with new growth will cut it back (for new cutting) and hopefully it will spread outwards.
