Which Kind of Lavender Plant is Not for Human Consumption?

I have provence and potpourri lavender I was told not to use a certain one cause its not good for humans is it either one of these please help

If you have botanical names for them, that would help a lot.

I have several plants of [url=https://www.smgrowers.com/products/plants/plantdisplay.asp?plant_id=941]L. dentata candicans[/url], whose leaves are not recommended for human consumption. However, I can tell you that they make wonderful indoor bouquets! And that they last for months. :D

Maybe this is the variety you were thinking of?
