This morning in the herb garden

I found another species that likes dry soil and full sun!

The recently replaced fence has doubled the outdoor space available to my dogs, but has increased the likelihood that they will invade the garden. Sometimes it's cute, like today. Sometimes it's not.

Cute! I have 2 dachshunds that would be lost if they walked in my garden. You have a little helper.

I don't know if I'd call her a helper. Hinderer is more like it! But she's old and sweet, so I let her do her thing. I'm hoping to fill up more of that space soon, though, and then she'll be relegated to the concrete or the grass, poor thing.

My yellow lab prefers to supervise. Even before I started putting up a fence to keep the rabbits out he still stayed out of it. But he loves to sit in the sun on the hill and watch while I work.
