Stevia?

I picked up a Stevia plant this year, put it in a big pot with some good soil, but it wilts daily then comes back strong at night.... weird also, the edges are turning blackish brown... any ideas?

Stevia should do well in a good standard potting mix. If you used garden soil, no matter how 'good' it might be, it won't drain fast enough to be used for container-grown plants. Stevia also don't seem to like a lot of nitrogen.

While Stevia likes moist soil, it doesn't tolerate poorly drained soil. The roots will rot.

Stevia does best in partial shade, if you live in an area of warm summers. It doesn't like temperatures lower than 50º F. That's pretty much the bottom of the range, and they'll be happier at 60+º.

HTH! :)
