Rob - your first photo looks like thyme and oregano. The thyme has the smaller leaves. The second photo is mostly mint. IDK what is growing with it. Taste it.

I usually SMELL oddballs in my herb garden. If it doesn't have a scent -- nothing but vaguely "green" -- it probably doesn't belong there.
