Please identify this little flower?

Help me identify this little yellow flower. I thought it was a dandelion when I first saw it all over my yard. The black tipped petals and leaf shape throw me off. There are different types of dandelions but the leaf shape seems consistently similar to common dandelion. This little flower showed up on a part of my yard that always grows weeds that I mow. We have dandelions and California poppies all over the place but this one seems different. Thanks.

Ooh I was thinking hawkweed, too, but I wasn't sure. 8)
