Pink Evening Primrose - To keep or pull?

My house came with the yellow variety of evening primrose throughout various sections of garden and I routinely pull sections that are going too wild. I really wanted to try the pink variety so I planted some seeds last year and they took their time growing and didn't bloom. Well it turns out this spring I have a crazy cluster of pink evening primroses and it already appears to be taking over... I should have expected it I know. The question is, do I turn back now and rip them all out or do I let them do their thing and attempt to keep them in check like I've done with their yellow friends? I've already ripped them out from between some of the well behaved surrounding plants. They're so pretty... I'm just scared of what I've gotten myself into.

I'm thinking if I'm going to turn back now is the time since they're starting to bloom and I might be able to catch them before they go to seed.

What are your thoughts and opinions of this native thug?

Let a patch grow and save me some seeds :()
