what kind of mushroom is this???... and can I eat it?

Hello. Spring has sprung me some mushrooms. I'm a bit curious to find out what kind they are. My daughter is 10 and shes is very excited about them. I'm a little new to gardening just started last year so I'm not too familiar wwith the subject. Got a good start on perennials this time and found some interesting mushrooms in between my trees. Can anyone help? Thank you so much for ur time. Also ump can someone tell me how to post a picture  [/img][/I]

Mushrooms are almost always toxic; please read the thread carefully for more information.
