I spy, with my admiring eyes -- Jewelweed/Touch-me-not, mullein, Common milkweed (Asclepias syriaca), Butterfly weed (Asclepias tuberosa), what looks like some kinds of sage and mint flowering, and beautiful summer clouds. :D

First one, I feel I should recognize, but ??

Blue vervain (Verbena hastata)
The white water lillies are either Big floating heart or American white water lily. I want to get some American Lotus but not sure if thats even a good idea. Will post a better pic of the water lily flowers soon.

Went down to the MN wild life refuge in Richfield, MN and didn't bring my camera but they, over the span of about 10 years since I have been visiting there, have changed the landscape to a diverse prairie flower habitat. They cut the pines lining the parking lot and went to town on planting all the hardiest flowers over a big size field that slopes off into the woods. They really did something special and it gives me lots of hope and a push. When I saw it I thought "This is the epitome of gardening with native plant species." A careful glance revealed the spacing of the flowers was done to maximize growing space and and at the same time maximize diversity. There were no rows just a blanket of flowers.

FINALLY got the chance to look through your photos. It must be beautiful there, surrounded by wide swathes of flowers like that.

We just might have to add your farm to our bus tour itinerary :kidding:

SH, I was looking up a milkweed species Name I wasn't familiar with, and came across this: https://www.illinoiswildflowers.info/prairie/plantx/pr_milkweedx.htm

Is it possible what you have is Prairie Milkweed (Asclepias sullivantii)?

Applestar- the only way to know is check again the height. I have seen mine Approximately 4 1/2 ft. Common is listed as Purple and Prairie is listed as Pink. Looking back I waited all spring for them to bloom so when I took a snapshot it was just blooming and pink. I want to say they are purple.
