Can someone tell me what these are? -- Cypress Vine

My yard is overgrown with these. (The fern type plants) I really like the way they look and wouldn't mind finding a good place for them but they have a knack for growing in the wrong places and choking out what I already have. I'm assuming they are a native plant or weed of Florida?

It looks like Cypress Vine ... Ipomoea quamoclit. Other common names for it are Star Glory, and Hummingbird Vine. In Florida and other warm-climate areas, it is considered to be quite invasive. It's a native of Mexico.

It reseeds itself prolifically, but I don't think it spreads by stolons. You might be able to contain it in specific spots by carefully and thoroughly deadheading it, before it has a chance to set seed. :)
