Juniper bought from nursery stock

I found this juniper at a bonsai nursery (south bonsai, Sydney) and it was the leftovers from a cascade workshop the week before. I forgot to take a before shot. But I am really happy with it, the trunk twisting the way it does is really interesting, really happy.

It is a good start. Later you might shorten one of the branches. Usually bonsai has three main branches one short, one midling and one long.

Thanks, the branch hanging over the rim is about 15cm longer than the top one. and I'm thing about making it an odd 3 branches by taking one off the lower one.

Love the way the branches are twisted like that! Never seen a bonsai like that before
