Looking for example pics of new juniper growth/before&af

I have just received my first "bonsai": an 8 or 9 year old japanese juniper. I am told that the new growth on it will show up in the spring and will be a little lighter in color... does anyone have a picture of this so I can know what I am looking for? And maybe a before and after shot of when the new growth is pinched off? I'm more of a visual learner. Thanks so much!

I don't have any pictures, nor do I even have any junipers, but its pretty obvious to see new growth. Its bright green or yellow green and will be at the tips of the branches. it will also have a bud at the tip where the new needles(?)/leaves come from.
