Name of bonsai? (Fukien Tea)

Hi my name is Chloe... :D I just bought a bonsai and I can't remember wat kind it was... all I remember is it started with a C...please help :cry: :shock:

really?! I typed in the name on google images and the leaves look exact. so...I guess thats it!!! thanks!!!

It doesn't appear to be a fuken tea, but rather a Citrus (I may be wrong though). And, by the looks of the leafs, it has a very grim scale infection. I would spray it with neem sometime in the near future.

Na its defenitly a Fukien Tea the shape of the leaves and the flowers are exactly like mine.

The flower Pods and the serrated ends of the leaves are a dead give away
Fukien Tea :)

I like blue pots can you tell? hehe

How does Carmona microphylla sound? That is the proper binomial name for Fukien Tea, (Or at least one of them, the other is Ehretia buxifolia, I'm not sure which is currently preferred. :?:) it may help with your research. I agree that your tree is a Fukien Tea. A close look at the enlarged pictures shows the characteristic 'notched' leaves.

The top photo appears to show some distress as bonsaiboy noted but I could not say what the problem is. How are you managing it? Lighting and watering. Look here for a care sheet that may help.
