Yup, just wanted to share. I've never had a plant before and in a wierd way I'm already kind of proud of it. It's really much like caring for an animal in some ways.
Oh, and I now that I have your attention, I have a question. The window next to the plant (which can be seen best in the pic on my other post), is at an angle. It's a North window and therefore doesnt offer very good lighting at all. I could easily move my plant to a South window but this could cause multiple problems such as the plant not responding well to being relocated, as well as me being just plain worried my cats will get at the plant. I'd like to keep it in my room if at all possible.
Should I invest in a fluorescent lamp to prop above the plant? It's lost a few leaves since I got it 2 nights ago, but my suspicion is that it was due to being relocated while having to travel in a winter (WINNIPEG) climate.
Any advice would be more than appreciated, as I'm very much a beginner at this. Thanks!
