Fruit to grow in a small pot
I was looking for a fruit or vegetable to grow in a small pot. It would have to be in full sun as well.
Maybe strawberries? They can drape down/over the sides of your container.
Many vegs/herbs will also work in pots.
I would go to a local nursery/garden store (independent) with the dimensions of your container and ask for their advice. Locally adapted varieties would have a higher probability of success.

You can buy these tiny little peach trees they would work in a large pot. And they are really prolific. Just feed the tree each year by replacing the soil with good compost and manure.
You might try doing a solitary blueberry plant though you'll do better with several of them in bed somewhere.
Let me see, fruit, fruit, fruit?..... You could buy a goumi bush (they start out just little) and plant that there. The fruit is sweet and very edible. Again, large pot would be best.
