Every year I buy beautiful fully blooming geraniums. Then they don't bloom as fully. This year, I'm getting lots of flower stems full of buds, but the buds die before blooming. What am I doing wrong? Thank you

p.s. I moved from Northern Virginia to north east Pennsylvania but have had these problems for years.

Are they in containers? In the ground? Oops you posted in container gardening forum!

OK -- so describe what kind of containers. Did you uppot or are they in original container? How often do you water? Any sign of wilting? Post some photos if you like.
