Queen of the Night - Cestrum nocturnum

I wish my little queen was happier in her new palace. I was recently given a very small Cestrum nocturnum, and it was happy among my other plants for a week or so. Now her 4 leaves hang low. Are these plants extremely water sensitive? Or perhaps she did not like my organic fertilizer? (fish and seaweed). I hope she recovers. Does anyone have any advice for me?

I don't know this plant off hand but, how often are you watering it and how often are you fertilizing it. Also, what are the light levels like?

I wish I knew what she wanted

I only fertilized once, the same time I fed my other plants. I havent watered in 2 days because I feel I may have overwatered, and the soil is still very wet. Is it better to crank the heat (though it will be dry)? I live in burlington vermont, up on the third floor and my windows face the west = great noon/afternoon light - but our weather here is cloudy during basically the whole winter until april.

I took some pictures.

I sure wish those leaves would perk up again :(

p.s. the litter are leaves from an indian chili plant - the woman who gave this to me is from india and she said it would be good for it's growth?

happy update

for future reference, to other lovers of this special plant - I let her lose her leaves and now there are 7 or 8 buds that will produce 4 leaves each and in a month or so this plant is going to be blooming, releasing a beautiful fragrence all night long. I cant wait. so be patient and she will adjust :D

Well first of all, that light bulb is not providing sufficient wavelengths of light for your plant(s). And even though, you have them beside a window it still might not be enough.

Sometimes windows can be deathtraps for plants as well so that may be part of the problem.

Question: did your fetilize your plant with a saltbased fertilzer and if so, how much did you use? You may have burnt your plant.
