Parlor palm wilting - lack of light or lack of water?

I've been watering it once every week or two weeks, fully drenching it outside so the water pours from the bottom. It's living indoors, getting indirect filtered light throughout the day, with short periods of unfiltered light.

I would poke a chop-stick into soil ball every day. & water it liberally the day it (the chop-stick) is dry to touch.

I would start from a soak long enough to know the entire ball is full of water.

Hard to tell from your picture, but how big is this plant? And how big is the pot? Maybe the pot is too small for the size of the plant.

I agree, the pot is too small and it is probably rootbound. You could also give it some palm fertilizer while you are at it. Potted plants have to depend on you for all their water and nutritional needs.
