Quick question:
Can I leave a perennial I bought in a pot, in that pot for the winter?
Should I move in into my garage or leave it where it is on my stoop?
Cut it back, leave it alone...?
I believe it's Echinacea or from that family.

Hi Redvan
Warm welcome to the forum.
If you had your Echinacea planted in the ground I would not worry about it.
You need a very large container. 18" +. Yes bring it n to your garage. Severely limit your water. 1" per month or less. After the last frost move your plant to full sun. Gradually.
You should collect seeds and cuttings just in case the parent plant croaks.
Good luck
