Progress on our urban garden. I helped kids set this up a few weeks ago, 4 pots. Mish mash of flowers , some kiddo started some from my inventory. One pot bush beans so-so. Some plants starting to show color - marigold, zinnia, red salvia.

Update on our garden. All 3 flower pots doing, beans not so much. There's color showing. No big plan just doing. Kiddo 6 back in school 2 weeks. Summer too short!

I love seeing children being introduced to gardening. Kudos to you for getting your young ones involved in growing things.

Thanks for the cheers!
It was a bit of a challenge to figure something that would work. (mix together logistics, budget, family relationships etc). My son talked of having a small garden in front, partly for the kid. Digging up the front yard not in Mom's plan! I then suggested the pots for the side. With approval, gifted the pots, dirt etc for son's b'day in June, and it's LilDan's garden. If this works, no telling what we'll have next season!
