Peace Lily Repot?

I just bought a peace lily from Home Depot. It looked pretty root bound, so I put it in a bigger pot. Went from a six inch to a 12 inch pot. I didn't know anything about peace lilies until after I repotted it and started reading. is this too big? Would that explain why it is still drooping 4 hrs after watering and still not perking up? I attached a pic if the pot it was in and the new pot. The bigger blue pot has drainage holes but I didn't have a saucer for it, so it set in a bigger pot to bring inside.Need help. Don't want this to die. Any and all advice will be helpful. thank you.

It looks o.k. to me. Mine droop a bit when they are repotted too.

I don't think so, they like to be moist just don't over water.

The soil that I used was moist, but after I transferred I gave the top a quick spray to kind of set things. Hope that wasn't too much.. did I mention that I'm an amateur haha

Peace lilies are spathiphyllums. They live in moist shade but with good light if you want it to flower. They should not be sitting in water but they don't really like to be totally dried out.

Make sure you don't have them out in direct sunlight either or they will have issues. My neighbor just cut into part of her's to pot me one(moving out gift), and the chunk she cut out actually hasn't drooped at all, but it gets indirect sunlight for the most part.

It is a low light plant, but if you want it to bloom more it needs good light. A sheer curtain helps and don't put the plant too close to the window. Make sure you turn the pot weekly if the light is coming from only one side. Misting does help as it likes humidity and it is good to hose off the leaves weekly so it does not collect dust.

Is this a type of plumeria? that's what I was told when it was given to me. But I was also told by someone that it was some kind of olive tree? Have no idea what this is. Does anybody know?
