I have a clump of Aralias in a pot. When is they right time to separate them. The stems are still green.I want to have them atleast in 2 pots. 1 in a small one for a bonsai and another 1 which I want to grow tall.

India? I'm guessing your weather is like that of Florida. They can be ether deciduous or evergreen. The type deciduous can be separated best when they are dormant.

If we hold off a bit, we have people here who live in area similar to yours. Let's see if they have first hand information. Good to hear from you.
