Hello-
Regarding potted plants, when using a water soluble fertilizer, (such as fish emulsion) should your water-fertilizer solution be used in place of a regular watering? or should you water perhaps the day before as a buffer?
Also, is it better to dilute the mixture more than the directions ask if using in pots?
Think I may have overfertilized in the past, and don't want to repeat (!)
Thanks

Fish emulsion is somewhat water soluble but, many of the nutrients contained therein are less soluble that say, a salt.
Anyway, you should just add the emulsion to the watering can and fill with water. Then, just water with the emulsion.
Use once a week and you can still water the plants if they need it during the week.
Hope this helps.
