Peace Lily - Wilted

Mon Jan 21, 2013 5:03 am

I have an indoor Peace Lily that in the last couple of weeks the leaves have wilted and the tips of the leaves are brown. I only water once a week. Is this a case of probably rot root and there is nothing that I can do at this point?
Have a nice day!

Peace Lily - Wilted

Hello Schila. It doesn’t sound like a case of root rot. Since the tips are brown
and you only water once a week, it sounds like not enough water. Try watering
twice a week making sure to thoroughly wet the root ball and allow it to drain.
This won’t make the brown tips go away but the plant should perk up. Keep us
posted.

When it's time for the once-a-week watering, is the soil dry?
