Can I Move Bulbs From Crowded Pot?

Please help. I'm brand new to this. I didn't do any research before I went and planted a bunch of summer bulbs in a container. Now that the bulbs are growing 2-4 inches above the soil, I realized I have severely crowded the pot. Can I move these bulbs now?

most bulbs are a pretty hardy breed. Just divide them up and plant them in other planters. You should be fine.

yes, you can move them - they're pretty tough bunch, just try to be nice about it. Do it later in the day, when the sun isn't hot so they have a better chance of recovering without being "roasted" or stressed further.
