Hello NorthEast,
I had two vines in one large pot. And I got about 4 melons per vine. These were the small round watermelons. One melon enough for 2 people. I forget the name but they were yellow not red inside. Very, very tasty! There were alot of flowers on the vines but I plucked all but the first four that set fruit.
Last year I planted the big ones in the ground and our cool wet spring killed all the vines.
