Ok, I was trying to be creative with cheap containers, but now when I read your posts, I think I did the wrong thing. I bought those 5 gallon buckets at Home Depot to use for my tomatoes. I went to put holes in the bottom, but I ended up putting big cracks in them. But they'll drain either way.
They aren't meant for food- should I have not used them for planters?
