Hi. Not sure if this is the right place but I have a question on installing a sprinkler system for my container plants.
I have small potted plants in my car porch and some bigger potted plants outside my gate area. I plan to connect a timer to the main water source and a single half inch tube down and splitting it into two - one line to my small pots and the other to bigger pots.
I wonder if this will give me better water pressure or if I should use a two way manifold from the timer and have two separate half inch tubes - one to small pots and one to bigger pots.

It depends upon how many emitters you will use, if using drip. If using sprinklers, I often run two sprinklers from a split 5/8 inch hose and they work just fine, if the sprinkler is not too high capacity. That is running off of a pretty good well with 40-60 pressure regulator. I would be surprised if a 1/2 inch line would support two regular sprinklers, but perhaps would handle rainbirds but just a guess.
