I guess gardening and thinking make a good pair or am I wrong?
In the spring I start letuce by putting seeds in a bag of soil and keeping it in the house for three days then pouring it into the bed o cold frame. I have lettuce growing within a week even in 40 degree weather! I am thinking of doing thet with my tomato and pepper seeds! Why not?

It seems that after they sprout they grow slow but the sprouting takes sometimes 2 weeks and half the seeds do not sprout! I will put like a dozen seeds in a small plastic bag of moist seed starting mix then spread it in the box and cover it with a inch of dirt! I am really excited about it and may try it this weekend with some of the tomato seeds I have extra!
