They were $1 but what are they?

I bought this from the local gardening club, the lady said they flower and have a really nice scent. They don't do well in the winter but for the life of me I can't remember what she called them. They have a milky substance.

Thanks

They look rather like Plumeria cuttings to me, and the description of milky sap and tremendously sweet smelling flowers would seem to bear that out. Your garden lady may also have called them Frangipani.

Best of luck - Plumies are lovely trees!

WOW thank you.. do you think that when they start to grow I should plant them in the ground.. I just don't want them to die from frost next winter.. anyway. .that's for the advice.

I'd keep them in nice big pots, myself. They're not at all frost-hardy, and that way you can just bring them indoors when it gets cool in the winter, and not lose them.
