Is anyone growing Zingiber officinale as a houseplant?
I'm wondering what methods others are using to maintain the toasty temperatures that ginger loves so dearly.

Hi Monarda,
I'm growing ornamental gingers and costus, formerly ginger, indoors under lights which keep the temperature up.
If your indoor temperature is on the cool side, I recommend investing in a heating mat. They keep the soil temperature several degrees above room temperature. Your ginger will love it. Heat mats are readily available online.
