my aloe
My aloe has a big plant , that started out with a growing , and it went sideways , for some reason. When that happened, other plants started to grow and just wanted to know if I can leave the big plant that started out with , that is growing from the root .
I'm not 100% certain that I understand your question. What I think you're saying is that your aloe grew large and began to grow to one side, rather than straight up. That is not uncommon. Often, however, it happens because the plant isn't getting bright enough light, so the stalk (stem) is too weak to support it in an upright position. As a result, it bends/falls to one side. The same thing can happen if the plant isn't turned every day or two, so that all sides of it get equal exposure to the light. Plants grow toward the light, and if they aren't turned regularly, they can eventually lean toward the light so much, that the stems just fall in that direction.
I think you then say that, once the main aloe began to grow to one side, instead of upward, smaller aloes sprouted in the pot. That is normal. They are baby aloes, sometimes referred to as "pups," and they will grow into full-sized plants, just like your original aloe. Leave them in the pot with the parent plant until they reach about 6" tall. Then, if you wish, you can pot them up separately, as individual plants. It's okay if they haven't yet developed roots of their own when you pot them up. They will grow roots quickly.
Yes, you can leave the large plant in its pot. It will continue to produce more pups for you.
If I have misunderstood your question, please post again, and I'll give it another try.
