My Fern has yellow leaves and stuff. I would like to know what is causing thatand if it needs to be repoted.

Here are some pictures of my Boston Fern:

It doesn't look pot-bound enough to be causing that type of reaction. Have you fertilized lately? It almost looks like something burned the whole inside of the plant, and sometimes harsh fertilizers can do that if poured over the crown and not into the soil. Is it getting enough water? Ferns are heavy drinkers. Too much sun on its crown? They prefer to do their drinking in the shade. Look closely for spider mites. Boston ferns are one of their favorites.

There are no bugs creeping on it. I do water and fertilize it a lot. Maybe I should stop fertilizing it(every two weeks is probably too much). Almost no sun is touching this plant. It is in almost complete shade.

Overfertilizing a Boston fern will cause that kind of browning. :(

Yea, I think I will give it a break with the fertilizer.

what about the light green leaves ? isnt that caused by lack of nitrogen? usually a plant with enough or lots of nitrogen will be dark green in color.

but don't rely on me. how much do you feed it every two weeks? cause I feed my plants just about second time I water.

Since this plant has been fertilized every 2 weeks, according to the member who asked about it, I don't think this is a case of lack of nitrogen. Insufficient nitrogen does cause leaves to turn yellow and fall off, but these pictures look more like a case of either over fertilizing, which can cause salts to build up in the soil and burn the leaves, or of insufficient water or humidity. JMO, though. :)

can't believe how much I'm learning on this site. I just had all my questions answered on ferns and didn't even have to ask one.
