Hi everyone,
I bought a madagascar jasmine last year and it had beautiful flowers and grew very quickly (it is a climber afterall). However, this year, there has been very little growth (almost none) and there is no sign that the plant is going to re-flower. I water it once a week and I put in fertilizer to help promote the re-flowering process. Please help...does anyone have any advice on how to make these plants flower and grow?
Thanks!
P

Did you give it a winter rest period, where you watered and fed it less? If not, it could just be exhausted! It's not typical for Stephanotis to be in constant bloom - there are cycles of flowering, and the plant needs time to recuperate afterwards.
Also, what fertilizer are you using? Have you repotted lately? How big is the plant in relation to its pot? Have you pruned it at all? (removing some of the softwood and all of the deadwood will also promote growth and flowering, and make the plant a bit bushier.)
