Potted, urban, outdoor begonias

Hi folks,

My coworker asked me to look after his begonias while away. He told me he has been watering them every day. Everything I read online said that this plant was prone to mold or rot if left too wet.

We live in a dusty urban area with a good amount of sun from the East. The plants are being kept outside.

Any suggestions for breathing some new life into these plants?

Thanks,
wb

I would have to see photos to know if they needed any care other than what your friend routinely gives them. :)

Great suggestion. I just moved and it took me awhile to find my camera. Turns out it is out of juice so I'll have to get back to you on that.

Don't feel bad! My camera battery is often dead when I finally decide to use the camera. I'm one of the world's worst photographers, so I don't take a lot of pics.

We're in the 90's here in Texas(Austin/Gonzales) and my parents don't water their begonias daily. That seems obssesive. Even in triple digits, my parents never water their begonias daily.
