What kind of lettuce is good for growing in containers?

I want to grow some salad greens, but I don't have any more room in my garden. I do have a screened in porch that has plenty of room for pots. The porch it covered, but still gets a good bit of sun.

I would think just about any lettuce would grow well in containers. Certainly leaf lettuces do. I've not grown Iceberg, so I'm not sure about it.
