How many plants per pot?

I've got a half dozen pots, each with (2-4) healthy Zuchini and Cucumber plants that I started from seeds. I thinned the germinators to this plant density, knowing that I should only have 1-2 full size plant for this size pot.

My question..........should I thin the pots with 3 or 4 healthy growing plants or leave them? I want the best possible yield of vegetables from my 'garden'.

Thanks,

g

As big as zucchini and cucumber get, I'd only put one in each pot. They do get very big, and trail everywhere, so you're going to need a lot of space on the ground too - but I think they'll look best alone in that size pot.

If looks really don't matter, go ahead and put one on each side of the pot - it shou'd be enough room for the roots, but you will need to water often!
